HALF AND HALF

The mother is only one. Sometimes it's one too many... Two half-brothers, Robert and Dominik, are seriously considering this dilemma. The realization of their life plans and dreams is in question as long as... their mother lives. Contrary to appearances, the brothers are not at all heartless monsters waiting for the death of the poor old woman's mother. The reality portrayed in contemporary Spanish comedy is much more complicated, and the story of the relationship that unites the brothers and their mother is told in a perverse and very... funny way. Next to laughter are tension and horror, worthy of the master of the genre - Alfred Hitchcock. As one Spanish theater critic wrote: “it is a drama disguised as a comedy.” The almost farcical form is filled with problems of a really large caliber. Great written, brilliant and funny dialogues, expressively outlined characters. Storied lies, twists and lots of very black humor.
