Conducted by: dr Edyta Gawron
The book “Poles — Jews. Neighbors for a Thousand Years” is a cross-sectional conversation about the 1000-year relationship between Poles and Jews by Professor Andrzej Chwalba and Dr. Michał Przeperski — representatives of two generations of researchers.
As Professor Andrzej Chwalba writes: “This book is not intended either as an indictment or as an act of defense. It is an attempt to talk honestly about a thousand years of neighborhood—without erasing the tragedy, but also without reducing the whole to a single era. And a test of whether we can talk about the past without accusations and without running away.”
