Polaris

Polaris. Space submarine and the mystery of the polar night

The penguin and the polar bear usually do not get a chance to meet, however, in the movie “Polaris” we get to know them together. Curious life penguin-traveler James arrives from the South Pole to the North Pole. Here he meets Vladimir the bear, with whom he becomes friends.

Friends decide together to unravel a certain mystery. Like real scientists, they ask questions, hypotheses and test them by observing various phenomena. A scientific adventure leads them to build an observatory and a spacecraft. They look from space at Earth, Mars and Saturn, learn the secrets of the planets, their similarities and differences. “Polaris” is a smart and beautiful animated film that, through an immersive story, introduces viewers to different types of celestial bodies and introduces the concept of the Earth's rotational motion and the most important elements of the scientific method.
