Discover the “people of the future” when Polite swoops past the Flea with a brand new album on November 5th!

In 2025, Polite entered the Danish indie scene out of thin air, and surprised listeners, radio stations and music media with the EP 'The Green House Has Been Asking About You' (released via Konkylie). With 5 stars from Gaffa and Soundvenue, they called Polite “the people of the future” and drew parallels to Aldous Harding and The Weather Station.

Polite's very immediate songwriting is supported by band arrangements that range widely between the understated and a more extroverted and redemptive expression. The lyrics take center stage, and revolve around themes such as vulnerability, social heritage and existentialism.

Behind the Copenhagen project is singer and songwriter Karina Kaleda together with the band consisting of Anders Bak Mejlvang (bass and keys), Carl Juul Nielsen (guitar) and Morten Brok Steffensen (drums).

Gaffa about EpiPen, 2025: “modern people with warmth, edge and reflection”

Soundvenue about the EpiPen, 2025: “blessed with a mystery of a voice.”

Experience Polite live through November when they take the stage with a debut album to be released this fall.
