“The future is painted dark, which in the end, I believe, is the best prospect for that future.” — Virginia Wolf
In the beginning, it was Demi.
At first there was Demi, Demi was alone and terribly bored.
And boredom is the best medium for creating worlds.
So Demi gets to work. He will create the world. The best world in the world.
One that everyone would want to live on. And by the way, Demi will no longer be alone.
Demi tries very hard, but he happens to be distracted, forget, not finish. Shapes creep out of the abyss of his body. Shapes get hearts. They get breaths. They get consciousness. They get love. They get the sea and they get the ship. The oldest ship, sailing on the oldest sea. And on it, creatures soaked in the poise, impulse of play, resilience and humor of their demiurge are trying to conclude a wedding.
So in a world created by a demiurge with ADHD, two people decide to get married on a ship. And on whether the wedding takes place or not, the fate of the whole world depends. On the oldest ship, sailing on the oldest sea, virtue stumbles on its own legs, and the most interesting thing is in the dark.
