POP OPERA — FROM OPERA TO MUSICAL

A musical journey from opera classics to musical hits and pop hits

We invite you to a unique show in which great opera arias meet musical, film and entertainment hits.

They will be performed live by soloists of musical and opera theaters and excellent musicians under the direction of Dr. Bogna Dulińska. The concert will be completed by spectacular visuals, dancing, costumes and musical surprises.

🎼 In the program we will hear, among others: “O sole mio”, “La donna è mobile” from the opera “Rigoletto”,

“Nessun dorma” from “Turandot”, “The mouth is silent, the soul sings” from the operetta “Merry Widow”,

“Torna surriento”, “On My Own” from the musical “Les Misérables”, “Almost succeeded” from

“Princesses and Frogs”, “Parla più piano” from the movie “The Godfather”, “When I'm 64” The Beatles,

“My Way” by Frank Sinatra, “Steamboat” by Krzysztof Krawczyk and “Save from Oblivion” by Marek Grechuta.

Familiar melodies will also sound in new Polish language versions — among them

“You Raise Me Up”, “Libiamo, ne' lieti calici” from the opera “La Traviata” and “Shallow” from the film “Birth of a Star”.

Among the performers will be Krzysztof Knapczyk — tenor, actor and vocalist associated with the Music Theater in Łódź. He is a member of the “Queen Symphonically” projects,

“The Beatles Symphonically” and “A Tribute to Il Divo. The 3 Tenors”.

He has toured in Greece, Germany and the United States, among others.

Since 2014 he has been developing his own project “Opera on the street”, with which he visited, among others, Rome,

Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Athens and Berlin.

“Pop Opera” combines classics with modernity and brings opera music closer in fresh, contemporary arrangements. It's an evening full of familiar melodies, emotions and fun — for audiences of all ages.
