MORNINGS WITH ART. Mycenae and Crete — the art of the Aegean

How to start the day well? From an inspiring encounter with art!

We invite adults and seniors to Moranki z arte, which are short meetings devoted to the most interesting phenomena in the history of art. In an intimate atmosphere, we will explore different eras, styles and works, from ancient art to the present.

Each meeting will last 45—60 minutes and will take the form of an accessible art story. We will look at selected paintings, sculptures and artistic directions, considering what they depict and why they were created.

This is a proposal for everyone who wants to expand their knowledge, look at famous works from a new perspective and start the day in a creative, inspiring way

The next meeting will be held on 23 October at 10:00 a.m. at the temporary location: HALA URANIA — al. Marsz. J. Piłsudski 44.

Mycenae and Crete — Art of the Aegean — During the class you will learn about the art of Cretan and Mycenaean culture — from the colorful frescoes of the palace at Knossos to the monumental walls of Mycenae.
