Let's talk about the “Doll” by Bolesław Prus

We invite you to another meeting from the series “Let's talk about...”, during which we will take a closer look at one of the most famous Polish novels - “The Doll” by Bolesław Prus.

Over coffee, tea and sweet treats, we will talk, remember or discuss “Doll”, not only from the perspective of school reading. We will consider, among other things, what is still relevant in Prusa's novel, how we perceive its characters today, and whether the problems they faced are so different from those we know today.

There will also be film and contemporary references to the book.

We want it to be free, without judgment or the need for expert knowledge. You can come with your own opinion, a question, with a memory from school days or just out of... curiosity. This will be a time for open discussion.

Let's sit down at one table and... talk about the “Doll”!

The meeting will be hosted by Violetta Petliak

Admission is free
