Post Mortem: Forensic Medicine — True Crime

With new, exciting cases, the renowned forensic doctor Prof. Dr. Klaus Püschel is going on a big tour of Germany in 2027 and provides exclusive insights into the fascinating world of forensic medicine.

Excesses of violence, an airplane as a murder weapon, the Chinese murders and the masked man — just a selection of the impressive range of the largest forensic medical institute in Germany that will captivate the audience.

For decades, the former head of Hamburg forensic medicine has been one of the most distinguished experts in his field. He has made history in spectacular investigations: He autopsied the politician Uwe Barschel, investigated the massive mistreatment of a three-year-old girl in the Yagmur case and participated in the resumption of the so-called “bathtub case” involving Manfred Genditzki, who was acquitted after serving innocently imprisonment for over 13 years.

Püschel reports on exceptional cases — authentic, haunting and up close. The audience experiences live how events are reconstructed and causes of death are determined. This true crime special promises insights into real criminal cases at the highest level; as oppressive as it is fascinating. Dr. Tino Grosche will be moderated.

Look forward to a captivating evening between science and true crime — full of dramatic twists and moving fates.
