“Let's go back to the old days...”

We cordially invite everyone interested in the works of the twentieth and thirties of the interwar period to songs with soul and character. An extremely rich fragment of the history of Polish music, which, unfortunately, we often forget. The lyrics of Hemar or Konarski are still used by musicians, and the music of Henryk Wars changed the Polish scene for many years. He was a forerunner of new musical trends and currents, he made many original changes in the way of instrumentation, as one of the first Polish composers to introduce elements of jazz.

The concert of interwar songs performed by artists Piwnica Pod Baranami is a colorful musical spectacle with the participation of, among others, Ola Maurer, Ewa Wnukowa, Dorota Ślązak, Rafał Jędrzejczyk, Maćek Półtorak, Kamila Klimczak, Jakub Zuckerman.

You'll hear the stunners — This last Sunday, I made a date with her at nine, Never again, Love will forgive you all and much, much more. The program was honored with the Golden Leaf at the XX National Retro Song Festival 2023.
