Pose. Dialogue | exhibition opening

“Poza.Dialogiem” is an exhibition of theatrical photography by Magdalena Cydzic, focused on the man present on the stage — actor, dancer, performer — and emotions that take different forms of expression. The author is particularly interested in those moments when the invisible becomes visible, and the gesture or movement begins to speak more than the recorded dialogue.

When photographing theatre and dance, Magdalena Cydzic observes with attention the relationships between the artists, the intensity of stage expression, but also moments of silence and withdrawal. In dance he seeks freedom and energy flowing from movement, in theater — emotions hidden between words. Thanks to this, her photographs become separate stories about man and his inner experiences.

The exhibition takes place as part of RUSH 2 — Festival of Theatre and Dance. During the festival, Magdalena Cyzik will also photograph young artists performing on our stages, documenting the next theatrical emotions, meetings and stories.
