Great philosophers, a forgotten artist, an outstanding writer and microbiologist who made groundbreaking discoveries. These are the heroes and heroines of the biographies nominated this year for the Upper Silesian Literary Award “Juliusz”. We will get to know them better by talking to authors and authors who have discovered their fate for us in their books.
We will be joined by Maria Ciesielska and Anna Wacławik, authors of the book “Fleck. Saved by science”, Łukasz Garbal with his book “Wańkowicz. Life on the Crater”, Krzysztof Iszkowski and his “Idol. The temporal and posthumous life of Karl Marx”, Krzysztof Łapiński and his “The Smartest. Biography of Socrates”, as well as Peter Szarota with his book “Felicita! Psychobiography of Felicity Vestvali”.
