Can the line be the most important element of the image and build mood?
During the classes we will get to know the work of Stanisław Wyspiański — a versatile artist who was not only a painter, but also created stained glass, theatrical performances, designed books, furniture, as well as entire interiors. We will take a look at its fluid lines and plant motifs, discovering how they became part of the Art Nouveau style and penetrated into everyday space.
In the workshop part we will create our own models of Art Nouveau interiors. We will design walls, divisions and decorations inspired by Wyspiański's line and plant ornaments. Using repetitive patterns and rhythmic layouts, we will create spaces where art becomes part of the environment.
