The Poznań family is known primarily as great industrialists, and the symbol of their success has become the most magnificent palace in Łódź, also on the scale of the European bourgeoisie. During the period of independent Poland, the Jewish family of Poznań was also united by other activities for the city and the country. It turns out that in the history of the second generation we find many examples of social, economic and political activity. An interesting example is the figure of Maurycy Poznański, who was among others in the group of experts of the Polish delegation to the Peace Conference in Paris in 1919 and was one of the co-organizers of the Union of Textile Industry in the Polish State.
