POZQUEER: This: Something

The POZQUEER collective presents a classic plan to spend the most important queer holiday of the year — a multimedia drag show, based on Poznań values, with a welcoming pinch of guest representations.

The event consists of 8 drag performances, which are united by a common narrative based on the novel “It” by Stephen King and accompanying film and series productions. The main character is a cosmic being feeding on the fear of innocent children, who materializes their greatest nightmares and then kidnaps and devours them. It's a perfect metaphor for right-wing propaganda that does exactly the same thing by attacking the LGBT+ community with the intention of stopping inclusive progress.

This time, to go beyond the circle of local Poznań artists such as Grandma, Ala Urał or Bom Belle, POZQUEER invited Martwy and Limadka Teresa. Thanks to this, the diversity of queer identities represented during the event will be enriched by the perspective of other experiences of performing Polish drag art.

No seats in the audience (except for exceptions). In addition, the building is accessible to people with disabilities — there are no stairs and ramps, there are adapted toilets. Bar with drinks on site. Toilets marked gender neutral. We recommend that you take something to sit on the floor and dress for a bulb.
