He (Przemysław Bluszcz) - a middle-aged entrepreneur who devoted his life to his company, she (Justyna Sieńczyłło) - a woman accustomed to luxury, thirsty for love and attention, but neglected by her husband for years. Walter and Renata have been together for a long time, while being apart. The turning point for him becomes retirement. Then he tries to make amends and make up for his wife's lost years. In a frank conversation, he takes all responsibility for a failed relationship. He does not know that his efforts are doomed to failure, because his wife has had a lover (Waldemar Błaszczyk) for ten years - a neighbor and at the same time a cordial friend of Walter. Will the attempt to save this relationship succeed? The author of the text, the popular German playwright Fred Apke, entertains viewers with perverse dialogues, while provoking reflection on their own lives. The light, comedic form allows you to distance yourself from important and serious matters. The punchline of art leaves you with the question of the meaning of changes in life - better late than not at all?
The play, which years ago stole the hearts of the audience as “Via-gra”, once again hosts on the boards of the Kamienica Theater in a refreshed formula as “The Truth About the Lie”.
