What is the play “Bleee...” about?

This is the story of the leading Polish playwright, Malina Przega, about doubt and faith, breaking complexes and finding beauty in oneself. This is a smart, touching and funny story that will delight children and adults. We will meet a butterfly who was tried for infidelity because he doubted the existence of the Queen. Butterfly is sentenced to solitary confinement in an old bus. There he meets the other prisoners - a bunch of insect outcasts. In the course of the performance we will learn about arthropods rejected by others, or arrived on the bus loop of their own free will, because of complexes and the feeling that they are useless. We will observe as it gradually comes to them that appearance is not what has to limit us.

PROJECT “ADULTS TO ART!”

The performance “Bleee...” was realized as part of the project “Adults to art!” , which was created with the aim of creating a space for creative expression for adult residents of Nisko and the surrounding area, interested in improving their artistic and social skills. The participants of the project took part in theater workshops, choral workshops and art workshops. Working hard and having a great time, they created an unforgettable show and exhibition of art works.

The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the programme of the National Cultural Centre: Culture — Interventions. Edition 2026.
