Where is the line between good and evil? And at what point do beauty, resourcefulness and knowledge begin to be seen as sin? “She Lives...” is the story of three women who experienced rejection because they remained faithful to themselves, their vocation, their loved ones and their love.

Anna the Herbalist, the Forester — a bird-woman — and Wilhelmina, whose husband is taken away by war, find themselves under the protection of the goddess Żyvia — a symbolic force that sustains life and surrounds the weakest with care. What remains when hatred, jealousy and religious fanaticism come to the fore? Is it possible to save what is most important when the world tries to deprive man of his own identity?

“Living...” is a story about the indestructible.

“Lives...” — a performance inspired by “Masurian tales” by Jadwiga Tressenberg.
