“Pretty Woman — The Musical” is based on a book and screenplay co-written by director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J. F. Lawton. The music, in the rock'n'roll style of the late 80s and early 90s, was composed by Bryan Adams — a rock music icon and Grammy winner, the lyrics were written by Jim Vallance, a longtime collaborator with him.
