Prussia's court music — that is the name both for the ensemble and for a series of concerts dedicated to pre- and early classical music and illuminates the musical traditions of the Staatskapelle Berlin in many ways. This season, two double concerts in the Apollo Hall include cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach and music by French and Italian Baroque composers.
