Professor Andrzej Gąsiorowski: friend, friend, historian

We invite you to a unique memorial meeting, dedicated to the late Prof. Andrzej Gąsiorowski, which will take place on October 22 at 17:00 in the cinema hall (level -3) of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk.

The recently deceased historian and political scientist, as well as a researcher of the history of the occupation and the Second World War, was a long-time employee of the Stutthof Museum and the University of Gdańsk. For many years he has also collaborated with the Museum of the Second World War, supporting numerous initiatives and serving advice and a good word.

It will be an opportunity to talk about the work and life of the Professor — a man who will be remembered, among others, for his extraordinary ability to reconcile many, sometimes completely different environments.

In the program of the event:

Organizers: Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk and Stutthof Museum

We invite all friends, colleagues, students and people who are close to the creativity and memory of the Professor.
