“PROPHYLAXIS IN THE NATIONAL HEALTH FUND” — THE MAYOR OF THE CITY INVITES TO THE SEVENTH MEETING OF HEALTH PREVENTION

What free prevention programs does the National Health Fund offer? Where to look for proven health information? How to do self-examination correctly and what can be read from the analysis of body composition? It will be possible to learn about all this during the 7th meeting of the cycle of health prevention.

The Mayor of the City of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Artur Łakomiec, invites residents to the meeting “Prevention in the National Health Fund”. The event will take place on November 9, 2026, at 17.00 in the Multimedia Hall of the Municipal Public Library in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski ul. Siennieńska 54. Participation in the meeting is free of charge.

This time our guests will be advisors for prevention and health promotion of the Świętokrzyskie Regional Branch of the National Health Fund. The meeting will be primarily of a practical nature. Experts will tell about the available prevention programs implemented by the National Health Fund and the Ministry of Health and will show which free tools can be used on a daily basis. Participants will get to know, among others, the National Health Fund Academy, the National Health Fund Diets, the MojeIKP app and MojeFizjo+. It will also be possible to get information about spa treatment and make a free analysis of body composition. A professional analyzer will allow you to determine, among others, the level of muscle and fat tissue, visceral tissue, water content in the body, bone mass, BMI, daily energy demand and metabolic age. Importantly, the participant will not be left alone with a set of numbers, because the results obtained will be discussed by the counselors of the National Health Fund. This is another meeting, during which prevention will not only be a topic of conversation, but above all something that can be translated into taking care of your own health on a daily basis.

The event will be preceded by a meeting of the Self-Help Group of Women with Oncological Diseases at 16.00. We cordially invite you. Participation in the meeting is also free.
