Themersons' 1937 “Adventure of a Decent Man” is a classic of the Polish avant-garde - a story full of humor and absurdity about a man who decides to walk backwards. On the other hand, the documentary “100 Times Head into the Walls or Kisiel” directed by Ignacy Szczepański is a portrait of Stefan Kisielewski (“Kisiel”), an outstanding columnist, composer and steadfast critic of the Polish People's Republic.

Ignacy Szczepański is a documentary director, screenwriter and painter, author of film portraits of leading figures of Polish culture. The meeting with him will be led by Małgorzata Sady - curator, translator and researcher who has been promoting the work of the Themersons for years.
