How to become the owner of a townhouse? Where is it worth looking for apartments under flip? Who to trust when renting? Is it possible to get PLN 4 million from a public institution for 2 square meters? When is it cheaper to buy and more expensive to sell? Is it better to have or to be? How did the political change in Kielce take place in the 1990s? Who made money on it? Who lost? Where did the townhouses come from?

About the event

In the performance appear: profanity, loud music, interaction with the audience, smokiness, nudity. The theme of death is raised, scenes of violence are simulated.

The show is recommended for people from 15 years of age. The performance takes place in different spaces of the theater - it is necessary to move (there is an elevator).

How to become the owner of a tenement house? Where is it worth looking for apartments under flip? Who to trust when renting? Is it possible to get PLN 4 million from a public institution for 2 square meters? When is it cheaper to buy and more expensive to sell? Is it better to have or to be? How did the political change in Kielce take place in the 1990s? Who made money on it? Who lost? Where did the townhouses come from?

Performance “Kielce protest. Who Kielce Belongs to” is a kind of performative documentary installation — about the dreamy housing revolution in Kielce and the people who benefited from it and those who continue to lose it. And above all, an attempt to ask the question: is it possible to protest against all this?

The Stefan Żeromski Theatre in Kielce and the creators of the play thank the management and the people working at the Kielce Village Museum for the opportunity to visit the open-air museum in Tokarnia.

Thanks also go to all the people who held meetings, talks, media support, shared information, archives, experiences, insights, criticism and contact through the email addresses protestkielecki@teatrzeromskiego.pl and idziemypowas@teatrzeromskiego.pl — without your patience, knowledge, information, this show could not have been created.
