Before the premiere: Izabela Kubrava

True art is born where the distance between the stage and the audience disappears. The heroine of the next installment of the series “Before the premiere” will be Izabela Kubrava. For anyone combing the calendar in search of the slogan “unobvious attractions in Wrocław”, this concert is a must. We invite you to a passionate evening that will allow you to touch the essence of an acting song at the highest level.

Izabela Kubrava (born 1995) is an artist who has associated her entire private and professional life with Krakow, and now brings her unique sensibility to the Lower Silesian scene. She honed her vocal craft from an early age at the Krakow School of Jazz and Entertainment Music. This solid preparation, combined with studying at the vocal and acting faculty of the Academy of Theater Arts in Krakow, opened her doors to the permanent acting ensemble of the prestigious Bagatela Theater, with which she has been associated since 2018.

For Izabela, music is one of the most important tools of artistic expression and a passion in life. Privately a lover of dogs, good photography and fashion, in everyday life she focuses on mental well-being, movement and closeness to nature. This harmony and vital mindfulness directly translates into her stage presence. In the second man, the artist most appreciates empathy, loyalty and broadly understood courage — and exactly these values, given without unnecessary pathos, you will hear in every word she sings during the concert in Wrocław.

The series “Before the premiere” serves as a unique incubator for young talents on the cultural map of the city. Meetings in Firlej are a moment in which winners of competitions, talented vocalists and composers get an invaluable space: the opportunity to transform their short, minute-long forms into a full recital.

Every evening the irreplaceable Bogusław Sobczuk watches over the final shape. As the host of the series and an outstanding director, Sobchuk is able to create a recital with real character from the first, raw sketch. Together with the artists, he builds dramaturgy, selects the repertoire and writes the script of the event. Thanks to this, each concert acquires a unique, deeply personal touch and is one hundred percent ready to conquer the biggest national stages in the future.

Come to Firleja to participate in the creative process without the tinsel and commercial task. You will be one of the first viewers to hear the material prepared by Izabela Kubrava in such an unconventional, close formula. It is an ideal option to spend an evening with a culture that forces you to reflect, delights with a workshop and is memorable for a long time. Sit back, mute your phone and listen as a new musical tale is born before your eyes.
