Bianca is not one of the quiet teenagers. One thoughtless word is enough for her to explode with anger. The girl is just learning to cope with her own emotions, which is not easy when she is overwhelmed by the divorce of her parents, the lack of acceptance and the feeling that the younger brother is favored. All of this builds a growing barrier between Bianca and her mom.

During an extremely hot summer, the tension becomes almost unbearable. The turning point turns out to be the unexpected visit of Bianca's idol, Billie King, who appears at her house. It is she who will help the teenager see the truth behind the anger and understand that there are other matters worth fighting for.
