What do we bring with us when we sit at a common table? Or just delicious food? Or maybe also the memories, family stories, experiences, and sometimes stories of those who came before us? During the workshop, we will examine how art preserves traces of people, events and experiences and helps to build a sense of community. We will examine why Pablo Picasso, an artist mainly associated with painting, reached for ordinary clay and wanted to create plates from it. What will the characters and animals that appear on them tell us about? What stories will we be able to recall?
November is good for meetings. So let's sit together at the table — to watch, listen and share what each of us brings with us.
The project was realized thanks to the support of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna — Patron of the National Museum in Krakow.
