How do our bodies react to the uncertainty of the future? They strain, lose orientation, look for points of attachment in the face of the unknown. Uncertainty is not only felt in our thoughts, but it is also written into the body, affecting the way we breathe, move and react.
It is a meeting with the physical tension inherent in the body — its ability to adapt, resist and transform.
The performative lecture will focus on how the body responds to uncertainty and how through movement, presence and experience we can prepare for what the future holds.
The event is accompanied by the exhibition The Sacred Point of View of Adrianna Konopka, who through her work undertakes a reflection on her own life and what is to come.
Is it possible to prepare the body for a future that we do not know?
