Pucio loves pets

Pucio Loves Pets will be released in cinemas across Poland — the sequel to the blockbuster, which has gathered more than 200,000 viewers so far. The new adventures of Pucio, the hero of the cult series of books, will bring even more laughter, emotions and meetings with animal heroes. In the animation we will again hear Artur Barcisia, Joanna Pach-Żbikowska and Małgorzata Socha, as well as the musical setting of Grzegorz Turnau.

This time, the Pucia family will be accompanied on the screen by unique characters - the dog Funio, the cat Mimi and a whole bunch of pets. As usual, the hero, adored by the youngest viewers, will not lack adventures. Pucio will plant his first tree during his vacation with his grandparents in the country, and during a walk in the park, together with Misia, he will go on a rescue mission in search of his neighbor's dog. When the beloved Funio feels worse, the siblings will do everything to return the pet to a good mood.

Pucio Loves Pets is another adaptation of Dr. n. Hum's bestselling book series. Marta Galewska-Kustra, with illustrations by Joanna Kłos, published by Wydawnictwo Nasza Księgarnia. Like the previous part, the new episodes are a 45-minute set prepared with the youngest viewers in mind and adapted to their needs.

The adventures of Pucia allow children and their parents to face situations familiar from everyday life with a smile and positive energy. In the second part of the film, the creators will show viewers how to care for animals, build relationships and cope with new challenges.

The production of the film is in charge of the animation studio EgoFilm — creator of the hit series about Kitty the Cat and the first theatrical release of Pucia. The producer is Ewelina Gordziejuk. Co-producers are CANAL+ Polska and PARIS HENDZEL Łukasz Hendzel. The supervising director is Marta Stróżycka.

The distributor of the animation is Młode Horizonty Dystrybucja, behind the cinematic success of such series as Kitty Cat, Pucio, Awesome Adventures of Socks or Basia, which gathered almost 2.5 million viewers in cinemas — raising the position of Polish family animation to the rank of phenomenon on a European scale.

The animation Pucio loves pets will also be shown during the 13th TAURON Young Horizons International Film Festival in the My First Festival section, dedicated to the youngest viewers.
