Purple Schulz — I DON'T HAVE TIME FOREVER! - The 2027 anniversary tour

A life dedicated to the stage: Still being able to go on extended tours at the age of 70 is not a matter of course, but a real privilege. PURPLE SCHULZ knows that: His spirit is more alert than ever, his voice is even more touching today than before, and his audience has remained loyal to him unconditionally for decades. With his big birthday tour “I DON'T HAVE TIME FOREVER! “The Cologne-based singer-songwriter is bringing this extraordinary anniversary live on stage.

The title of the program sounds like farewell, but means the exact opposite: It is a flaming plea for the here and now. With this tour, around his 70th birthday, he gives his audience a deeply personal experience that touches people right in their hearts and breathes real, deep passion at every moment. From a captivating intro to the grand finale after two and a half hours, the musician takes his guests on a highly emotional journey through a lifetime.

The audience is just laughing at one of the stories from his life that he shares, and he becomes serious, melancholy and thoughtful again. His songs may sometimes be uncomfortable, shake up the healing-world scheme and the dream of eternal youth. But it is precisely this interplay of emotions that combines humor and melancholy, protest and confidence to create a captivating evening that only ends with the last chord. That's just the way it is: unobtrusive, straightforward. After all, one thing in particular remains in the room: pure, honest love for people and music.

A particular highlight is his extraordinary Harpejji. The rare 22-string instrument creates a fascinating bridge between piano and guitar — with a unique sound that reflects the soul of the pieces in a touching way.

He is accompanied by guitarist and singer-songwriter Norman Keil, who gives the songs additional energy with his distinctive voice and fine dynamics.

“I DON'T HAVE TIME FOREVER! “is not a wistful review, but a vivid exclamation mark: Now is the time to live, to feel and to look ahead.
