On the Spectrum: Seeing the Unseen

The documentary follows 17 Icelandic women on the autism spectrum and provides a personal and nuanced insight into their lives, experiences and challenges. The film puts particular focus on why autistic girls and women have for so long been overlooked, misunderstood or misdiagnosed, and how they have often had to navigate a world that has had no eye for their particular needs and perspectives.
