Queen Budapest in Helios on Stage

On July 27, 1986, Queen played at the Népstadion stadium in Budapest in front of 80,000 delighted fans. The concert was part of the famous Magic Tour — the band's last tour with Freddie Mercury as lead singer. Now this unique recording of the concert returns in a restored version. The original footage has been re-scanned and remastered in 4K quality and is accompanied by a new dynamic sound mix. The film features Queen's biggest hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “I Want To Break Free,” and “We Are The Champions.” Three years before the fall of the Berlin Wall, it was the first concert of a Western rock band in the stadium behind the Iron Curtain. The event was so important to the Hungarian authorities and the local film industry that the best cinematographers and film technicians in the country were involved in its registration.
