The Radionauts and the Mysterious Morning

THEATER FOR CURIOUS CHILDREN
What is the moon made of? What does it look like in the deep sea? Why do dogs smell each other's butts?

Kids ask a lot of questions, but adults don't always have time to answer -- especially not on a Monday morning when you're about to get out the door late. Fortunately, the Radionauts are always ready to take the kids on a journey of discovery and find the answers.

But this day is not going quite as it usually does. When Karen and Lisa arrive, everything is turned upside down. And now suddenly they are the ones asking the questions: Where is the baby? And where should they look? Join the Radionauts as they investigate a very mysterious morning...

The performance is recommended from the age of 5 and is supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.





The radionauts are knowledge dissemination for curious children, created by Karen Brüel Birkegaard and Lisa Bay. Over 10 years, they have created the successful podcast Radionauterne, which with 4 million listens is Denmark's largest podcast for children. Based on children's own questions, they explore the world's biggest and smallest scientific questions.

The Radionauts have published the book The Great Voyage of Discovery of the Radionauts, performed at festivals, and developed several other podcast formats. The Radionauts and the Mysterious Morning is the theatrical debut of The Radionauts.

Alice Bier Zandén graduated as a director from The Danish Performing Arts School 2025 and has starred in several films and television series. She has starred in the Netflix film Ehrengaard — The Art of Seduction (2023) and in the DR series Generations (2025), she had one of four main roles.

Karla Nor Holmbäck graduated from the Danish Film School 2018. In 2020, she debuted as a writer and illustrator with the book Our Amazing Different Families. “The Radionauts and the Mysterious Morning” is her debut as a set designer and costume designer.
