TOGETHER IN ART: Collage or scraps of imagination (workshops for adults)

We invite participants to intimate, creative meetings from the series “Together in Art”. The meeting will take place on October 16 (Friday) at 17:30 in the TEMPORARY LOCATION of the gallery — al. Marsz. J. Piłsudski 44.

COLLAGE OR FRAGMENTS OF IMAGINATION

Is it possible to create real art from recycled materials? I am convinced that yes! Material and tools are important, but even more important is our ingenuity, imagination and creativity. It is they who are the foundation of creativity. Why collage? Because it develops imagination, teaches patience and supports ecology. During the workshop, from scraps of colored papers, from fragments of old newspapers, we will create multi-colored works of art.

The meeting will be led by Ewa Pohlke — she was born in Kętrzyn. She graduated from the University of Warmia-Masuria in Olsztyn, majoring in Art Education in the field of Fine Arts and at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts. She is a member of the Association of Polish Plastic Artists. She has presented her works at numerous solo exhibitions, including: Olsztyn, Warsaw, Kraków, Sycow, Tykocin, Królewiec, Berlin, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Dusseldorf, Vilnius, Kaunas, etc. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad: Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Armenia, Israel, Japan, South Africa. Her works are in private and museum collections around the world. Organizer of exhibitions, artistic projects, outdoor events and educational workshops for children and adults. He is active in the Borussia Cultural Community Association in Olsztyn. He is engaged in painting, drawing, graphics, illustration, experimental fabric and photography. _____

“Together in Art” is a series of meetings for adults who want not only to learn and watch art, but also to experience and co-create it. Working together with artists and craftsmen from the Warmia and Masuria region, the participants will learn a variety of creative techniques — from traditional to contemporary and will use them to create their own interpretations and activities. Together in Art is a space where everyone can become a creator, regardless of experience or skill — and art becomes a common language of understanding, reflection and inspiration.
