Razorlight will give their first Danish concert since 2008 when they take part in Pumpehuset on 28 October with the songs from their latest album “Planet Nowhere”.
Razorlight stands as one of the most prominent English rock bands of the '00s and '10s and was impossible to get around if you listened to British indie rock and groups like Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks and The Coral at the start of this millennium.
The group's pearly melodic guitar rock sparkled on hits such as “In the Morning”, America”,” Golden Touch” and” Wire to Wire”, and their first three albums all went top 4 in their home country, securing them both gold and platinum records. At the same time, Razorlight built a reputation as an utterly immersive live experience, both as a popular headliner and on tours with Queen, The Rolling Stones and Oasis.
After their third full-length “Slipway Fires” was released in 2008, the London group went on a solid album hiatus of close to 10 years before releasing the follow-up “Olympus Sleeping” in 2018 to applause from Q Magazine and Classic Rock Magazine, among others.
In 2024, Razorlight's tentatively latest album “Planet Nowhere” was released, underscoring the continued class of the foursome when it comes to writing catchy ear hangers that are made to be bellowed out live with a beer in one hand and a friend in the other.
This will be possible in the autumn when the English four-leaf clover gives their first Danish concert since 2008, when Razorlight takes part in Pumpehuset on 28 October.
