Hear the rich, layered harmonies of eight cellos playing together in specially arranged repertoire.
The programme includes Rachmaninov’s emotional, goosebump‑inducing masterpiece All‑Night Vigil and Elgar’s much‑loved early work, Serenade for Strings. In contrast, the atmosphere shifts with Villa‑Lobos’ rousing first Bachianas brasileiras – roughly translating as ‘Bach‑inspired Brazilian pieces.’
