The recipe for happiness

Sometimes the doctor prescribes syrup.

Sometimes pills.

And sometimes... laughter to tears and live songs.

A performance comes to Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, which instead of a prescription from a pharmacy gives a prescription for a better mood.

“The Recipe for Happiness” is a musical comedy in which life mixes with humor, and emotion falls on the scene unexpectedly - like an uninvited but much-needed guest.

And beware — they really play and sing live here. No playback. Without an awl.

Three women. Three stories. One office.

It all starts innocently.

Doctor's office. A couple of chairs. Waiting.

But instead of silence, life erupts.

There is Kasia — young, a little lost, just starting to grow up.

There's Cleo — temperament, experiences, heart-scarring, and the hope that “this thing” will happen again.

There's Gina — a senior with more energy than many 20-year-olds.

Three generations of women. Three looks at love, loneliness and dreams.

And all this is watched over by Dr. Kazimierz — more a confidant than a doctor. One that one comes to with a pain in the soul, not the throat.

When a mysterious Country-man still shows up in the office, it gets really hot. Worlds, temperaments and expectations collide.

And suddenly this ordinary day turns into a small, scenic storm.

Laughter, songs and pace like in a good show.

This is not a show where you look at your watch.
