Waste rehabilitation, or what upcycling consists of I | Workshops

We invite you to a creative workshop, during which an ordinary, unnecessary CD will turn into a glossy mosaic frame for a photo or graphics. The meeting will be accompanied by a conversation under the perverse title “What usually stops/defences/inhibits us from introducing eco solutions in everyday life?”. Instead of a lecture — a conversation at work: practical tips, curiosities, current trends and news from the world of sustainable design.

Conducting:

The Crush On Trash Foundation — supports creators and educates in the spirit of “less waste”, showing that upcycling is not only an ecological need, but also an infinite space for creativity. It gives a second life not only to recovered materials, but also to stage art. It promotes the idea of sustainable production of performances and helps independent dance artists at different stages of creative work and exploitation of performances, combining ecological responsibility with artistic passion.

• We encourage you to bring your own unnecessary CD/DVD discs and photos or prints (up to 10×15 cm format).

• The pass entitles you to unlimited access to the exhibition “Zofia Kulik. Instead of sculpture. Footnotes” throughout its duration, from October 3 to December 20, 2026.

• Pass holders can attend events accompanying the exhibition, such as lectures, meetings and workshops at no additional charge.

• The pass can be purchased at the MuFo Rakowicka box office and through the online ticket sales system.
