Waste rehabilitation, or what upcycling is all about II | Workshops

A punchy blanket, a dress that is too small, a towel with jagged edges, scraps of materials, scraps of yarn - in almost every home there will be things that it is a pity to get rid of, although it is not very clear how to use them. Before they end up in the trash, bring them to the Open Working Group workshop meeting, where you will work together on how to give them a second life.

Conducting:

Open Working Group — established in February 2025 in preparation for the exhibition “Do not look away. Reflections on Katarzyna Kozyra's” Olympia” show. The group is made up of people from different generations and backgrounds. Initially, an incidental artistic activity was planned, which quickly turned into regular weekly meetings of consultative and creative nature. The group was supposed to end its activity after the opening of the exhibition, but at the request of its creators it continued its activity throughout its duration, and after closing it became involved in another project — almost a year process of working with the work of Zofia Kulik, and the result is the current exhibition. The membership of the Group is open, anyone can join or leave it at any time.
