Relaxed Screening: Forgotten Island

Welcome to Relaxed Screenings - a comfortable and inclusive way to enjoy the magic of the movies in a sensory and autism-friendly environment. Every month, we host a special screening with reduced volume, dimmed lighting, and no ads or trailers, creating a calm and stress-free setting for neurodiverse guests, including those with autism and sensory sensitivities, and their friends, family, and carers.

Join us Sunday, 1 November, for a relaxed screening of Forgotten Island. While celebrating their last night together, Jo and Raissa stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastical island of Nakali, packed with magical and mythological creatures they grew up hearing stories about from their Filipino families.

Some of these figures will become friends, some foes. Joined by well-meaning-but- hapless weredog Raww and a small-but-mighty pack of pals, Jo and Raissa must face The Dreaded Manananggal, the most feared creature on the island. When they discover that their entire friendship is the price of returning home, Jo and Raissa race to find a way off the island before they forget each other forever.
