We cordially invite you to a meeting with Lidia Rozmus about her writing book entitled Republika Kreciej Góra (Austeria Publishing House)
The Republic of Krecia Góra is a place invented and named by the artist Lidia Rozmus. Geographically, it is located in the village of Vernon Hills, in Lake County, Illinois, USA. It is a hill, the slopes of which descend into the waters of the Big Bear Lake and the Double Moon Bay. The area is not too big, not too small, you can say — just once. Population: birds, mammals (1 homo sapiens), reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects...
At the same time, the Republic of Crete is an imaginary place that also exists only in the imagination. The whole idea is to somehow stimulate the imagination of adults and children, because everyone can have their own “republic”, if only to stop from time to time, breathe and maybe even smile at themselves.
The meeting will be hosted by Zofia Hartman.
