Requiem

A film inspired by the true story of the young Anneliese Michel from Miltenberg. Her experiences have already inspired, among others, the film “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” by Scott Derrickson. Extremely accurate observation and analysis of the situation of a weak man in the face of the moral ambiguity that surrounds him. The film tells about the fate of a young girl, Michaela Klingler, who in the early 70s became a victim of exorcisms. The girl suffered from epilepsy, but raised by Orthodox Catholic parents, she began to believe that evil powers possessed her.

Raised in a very religious family, 21-year-old Michaela leaves her parched parents and goes to university. There he feels the taste of freedom for the first time. However, he cannot free himself from the inhibitions brought from home and experiences a nervous breakdown. Are the scary faces and voices that haunt her just a symptom that accompanies epilepsy attacks? The girl comes home. Called by the family, the priest recognizes that the girl is possessed by the devil.
