Requiem for sleep

This is a mesmerizing tale of people longing for love trying to realize their dreams in today's Brooklyn. This is a Dantean expedition of the four heroes to the hell of illusions and deeply hidden desires. Aronofsky said: “'Requiem for Sleep' is not for people looking for light entertainment in the cinema. For those who want to break up on a Saturday night, I beg you - do not come to the 'Requiem for Sleep', or you will be sorely disappointed. But if you want to fly away for an hour and a half, you will definitely like it.” The brilliant role of Ellen Burstyn (a multi-nominated and award-winning role), the sensational music, the captivating editing, the overwhelming story - the whole thing makes the heart beat faster.
