The star of the evening will be Agnieszka Makowska — diva, improviser, puppeteer. Just a female orchestra! After the stand-up musical “Teacher's Anxiety”, beloved by the audience, and the demonic character of the teacher Marzena Świrska-Wnerwińska, it is time for the next incarnation of Agnieszka — the star of the stage, the great personality and actress of the first ensemble of the Teatr na Targówek — Danuta Rinn.

Can the retro queen make it in the world of celebrities, influencers and singers who strive to be divas in life and on stage? How has the Internet changed show business? Who is a diva in the modern world and what is the cost of being an icon for many generations of Poles? What is it like to be Danuta Rinn?

This comic recital full of absurd humor by Agnieszka Makowska will take you on a magical journey to the times when there was no autotune and playback, and the world was ruled by the goddess of the scene full of real sex appeal — divas!

After Anna Mierzwa's “Kalina”, we invite you to meet another pop culture icon, who was distinguished by her sense of humor and was a full-time actress of our theater! Danuta Rinn was part of the first ensemble of the Teatr na Targówek in 1975—1978, which you can hear about in the documentary series “Była Ramp” available here.

The recital “Retro Queen — Danuta Rinn” was created thanks to a grant from the National Reconstruction Plan and is the first performance staged as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Rampa Theatre in Targówek.
