November 27 will be both acid and a little summery when we get both ears and feet challenged when RKDIA and Dino Eger Tonnam treat us to 2x jazz concerts, which you can also dance a little to. Both bands share the legendary drummer Anton Eger, who in RKDIA joins forces with Morten Schantz's futuristic synths and who, together with Jakob “Dino” Dinesen and Warit “Tonnam” Techakanont, creates a playful blend of jazz, groove, improvisation. RKDIA

RKDIA is a high-intensity duo that finds itself at the intersection of electronica, jazz and broken disco. Morten Schantz (synths) creates sprawling, cinematic soundscapes, while Anton Eger (drums) unleashes explosive and hyperphysical grooves. Together they create a sound that is raw, euphoric and unmistakably their own.

It's music created for the stage -- intense, immersive and impossible to stand still to. With technical precision and fearless energy, RKDIA infuses jazz's kinetic freedom into synth-driven electronica and hook-based, rhythm-heavy sound universes that strike both the heart and the dance floor.

Formed in 2020, RKDIA has since played more than 150 concerts throughout Scandinavia as well as in Germany, Austria, France, the UK, Zanzibar and Thailand. Along the way, the duo have built up a reputation as a live act that you simply have to experience.

One of the career highlights came in 2023 when the duo were invited by His Majesty the King of Bhutan to perform at the country's National Day celebrations at the National Stadium. In doing so, RKDIA became the first Western band ever to perform at this prestigious national event.

Schantz and Eger are internationally renowned musicians, known from projects such as JazzKamikaze, Phronesis and Iiro Rantala HEL Trio, as well as their own award-winning solo work. In RKADIA, however, they create something completely different: clean-shaven, expressive and uncompromising.

DINO EGER TONNAM

DINO EGER TONNAM is the trio behind 'III KNIGHTS IN BANGKOK' — a musical meeting between three generations, two cities and vastly different musical backgrounds. Between Bangkok and Copenhagen, Jakob “Dino” Dinesen, Anton Eger and Warit “Tonnam” Techakanont have developed an almost telepathic ability to listen to and respond to each other.

Dinesen is one of Denmark's most established jazz saxophonists with more than three decades of experience, collaborating with international names such as Paul Motian, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Tony Allen and Steve Swallow. Anton Eger is an internationally renowned drummer, known from among others JazzKamikaze, Phronesis and collaborations with Marius Neset. Thai pianist Tonnam Techakanont brings a strong background in classical music, jazz and fusion, as well as a special sense of harmonics, timbre and texture.

The trio emerged in 2023 when the three musicians suddenly found themselves without their bass player and chose to continue playing as a trio. What began as a practical solution quickly evolved into a musical universe characterized by freedom, spontaneity and deep intercommunication. Since then, they have played about 50 concerts in Bangkok and Copenhagen.

'III KNIGHTS IN BANGKOK' was recorded in Bangkok in 2025 and balances the spontaneous energy of the trio's live performances with a creative and experimental post-production. The album moves effortlessly between jazz, groove, improvisation and more playful musical expression, while guests such as March Titiwat Tripob and Dawda Jobarteh expand on the trio's sound.

The music is characterized by adventurousness, humor and curiosity. The compositions draw on everything from Bangkok, Thailand and Jamaican music to Woody Shaw, ABBA and everyday experiences. The result is an album in which three very different musicians do not try to be alike, but use their differences to create something common.

As Dinesen himself puts it, the music is about adventure — about finding new places, new sounds and new ways to create a beautiful life together.
