Robots of Death

Purchases that you can pay for with your hand and foot!

The Frostbiters invite you to the 40th birthday of Chopping Mall - an iconic horror comedy in which the mall becomes a death trap and security robots take their duties far too seriously.

A group of teenagers decide to spend the night at the mall. In the plans are a party, romances and fun away from the watchful eyes of adults. Everything is going great until the modern security system gets out of hand and the laser-equipped robots do not start a bloody hunt for customers. The exits are closed, help will not come, and night shopping turns into a struggle for survival.

Jim Wynorski, a B-class cinema specialist, was behind the camera, and Julie Corman was in charge of the production. The cast includes Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) and Kelli Maroney (Comet Night), and also features regulars from Roger Corman's film world. Chopping Mall is 77 minutes of pure entertainment: lasers, explosions, rubber special effects and the atmosphere of the 80s at its best. As if Friday the 13th met Dawn of the Living Dead, only robots were prowling the mall instead of zombies.

Forty years later, the promotion continues. We do not accept returns!
