On October 10, 2026, Jelenia Góra will once again become the capital of Polish alternative, rock and reggae music. The seventh edition of the Rock Jelenia festival will take place in the Złotnicza Hall, which has been attracting fans of unique sounds and unforgettable concert experiences for years.
This year's edition of the event is a meeting of three legendary formations that have been contributing to the history of the Polish independent scene for decades. On one stage will perform: FORT BS, HABAKUK and ARMIA — bands whose work has been permanently inscribed in the history of Polish music.
FORT BS — Jelenia Góra punk rock legend
The history of the FORT BS team began in 1983 in Jelenia Góra. The group quickly became one of the most important representatives of the domestic punk scene, and its artistic path is inextricably linked with the legendary Jarocin Festival.
After several performances on the Jarocin stage and winning awards in the mid-1980s, FORT BS gained national recognition. The song “Rozhulantyna”, which was included in the cult composition Even younger generation, confirmed the position of the band as one of the most interesting phenomena of Polish punk rock of that time.
After years of hiatus, the musicians returned to the stage, releasing more albums, including Lekcja Historii, 1986 and Po Cichu. Today, FORT BS remains a symbol of authenticity, energy and the unique spirit of independent music, and the hometown concert will be a unique event for both the band and its fans.
HABAKUK — more than three decades of Polish reggae
HABAKUK is one of the most recognized and appreciated reggae formations in Poland. The band was formed in 1990 and since the beginning of their activity has been creating a characteristic mix of roots reggae, rock and dub, building their own unique style.
Great recognition was brought to the group by the debut album “Mniam, mniam regge”, which is still considered one of the most important albums in the history of Polish reggae. Subsequent releases such as Rub Pulse and A ty siej — featuring interpretations of Jacek Kaczmarski's lyrics — only strengthened the band's position on the national music scene.
Habakuk also went down in history as the first Polish reggae band to perform at the famous Glastonbury Festival in the UK. The group has more than 600 concerts, performances at the biggest Polish festivals and cooperation with the legend of world reggae — Don Carlos.
Their concerts are an extraordinary energy, a positive message and music that has been connecting successive generations of listeners for years.
ARMIA — the legend of Polish alternative rock
ARMIA is one of the most important and influential bands in the history of Polish rock music. It was created in 1984 on the initiative of Tomasz Budzyński, Robert Brylewski and Sławomir Gołaszewski — artists who left a huge mark on the independent music scene in Poland.
The albums “Legenda” and “Triodante” have been recognized as milestones of Polish alternative rock for years. The characteristic combination of poetic texts by Tomasz Budzyński, unobvious compositions and mystical atmosphere made the work of the Army evade all musical schemes.
For more than four decades of activity, many outstanding musicians have passed through the band, and Armia itself remains a symbol of artistic independence and uncompromisingness. The group's latest album, War and Peace, released in 2025, is yet another confirmation of the band's extraordinary form and its constant need for creative exploration.
One scene. Three legends. The power of emotion.
Rock Jelenia Vol. 7 is not just a concert, but a real celebration of independent music and a meeting of several generations of fans of rock, punk and reggae. It is a unique opportunity to see during one evening the artists who for decades have co-created the history of the Polish music scene and still inspire generations of listeners to this day.
We invite all lovers of strong sounds, authentic emotions and unforgettable concert atmosphere to a unique evening in Jelenia Góra.
