Family meetings with New Music

Once a month, the Nowy Teatr turns into a space for musical discoveries, fun and joint listening — without school benches and without difficult theory. In the form of engaging workshops for children from 5 to 9 years old and their caregivers. We get to know the sounds of contemporary music, experiment with sound, movement and imagination. All this together with musicians from the Chamber Orchestra Chain Ensemble!

Topics of the next meetings:

20.09.2026 — Bird alphabet

Can birds sing like humans? During the meeting we will get to know musical birds, listen to their voices and see how composers turn singing, chirping and flapping wings into music.

18.10.2026 — Who's Afraid of Sound?

Can the sound be scary, funny, mysterious, or completely surprising? Together we will discover what the violin, viola, horn and drums can do, and we will see that even the strangest sound can become part of a musical story.

15.11.2026 — Cracking Wardrobe, Rubber Duck and Other Instruments

Can anything become an instrument? During the meeting, we will experiment with sounds, discover unusual sounds and see what a wardrobe, rubber duck, double bass, oboe and bassoon can have in common.
