How many colors does autumn hide? What trace does the paint leave when we gently touch the surface with it, and what — when we make a wide, free movement? We invite families to paint together, experiment and discover the pleasure of creating.

How many colors does autumn hide? What trace does the paint leave when we gently touch the surface with it, and what — when we make a wide, free movement? We invite families to paint together, experiment and discover the pleasure of creating.

Inspiration will be colors, light and the transformations that occur in nature. We will apply and mix colors, imprint traces and learn about different textures. From the next layers, joint family images will be created, in which there will be a place for the ideas of children and adults.

You don't have to be able to paint or have a ready-made idea — you can start with one spot of color and see where it takes us. More important than the end result will be the joy of discovery, freedom of self-expression and time spent together.

The workshop is open to all interested families. We create a shared, welcoming space where neurodiverse people, including children on the autism spectrum, can feel safe and develop their own ideas with their needs in mind. There is a place in it for different ways of perceiving the world, your own pace of work and rest from action.

The meeting is of an art therapeutic nature and supports the building of relationships — through joint creation, mutual attention and acceptance.

Leading:
Angelika Bronka Głowacka — plastic artist, occupational therapist, art therapist during training conducted by the Academy of Special Pedagogy in Warsaw, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He works at the Dr. J. Babiński Clinical Hospital in Kraków, where he runs the Art Studio “Na Rogu” offering therapeutic and artistic classes for the patients of the hospital. He cooperates with the Tomasz Deca Foundation for the Mentally Ill, for which he regularly conducts art therapy workshops and designs materials promoting the foundation's initiatives. Her interests revolve around art brut and its importance in the process of therapy and expression of people in mental crisis.

The event refers to the recently realized exhibition “Soon Everything Will Change” at Wawel, which deals with the theme of the relationship of man with nature and the surrounding space.
