RoFH x Rising Tour: Will

RoFH x Rising Tour is a new tour format that aims to strengthen new voices in Danish music and give high school students the opportunity to try their hand at the music industry. The first edition will take place 18—20 November 2026, with pop talent Will going on tour for Gimle, BETA and Richter. Along the way, high school students gain concrete experience in organizing, producing and performing concerts.

The tour is part of Roskilde Festival's annual Rising effort, which strengthens new artists, ideas and communities and is presented in collaboration with Roskilde Festival Højskole.

Will

In a short time, Will has moved from the underground to larger Danish stages, including as part of the opening program at Roskilde Festival 2026 — and then he himself has been a student at Roskilde Festival Højskole.

Will creates snapshots that cause the heart to forget -- for a brief moment -- its next beat. He himself describes his sound as the “Bon Iver Trap”: one leg planted in the alternative pop, the other in the rhythmic heaviness of hip-hop. With a glass-clear vocal and uncompromising honesty, he writes songs that balance between the fragile and the explosive. The universe is melancholic, the lyrics personal — and the emotions always in the utmost potency.

The story begins in a teenage room in Tisvilde and has since led him to scenes such as Store VEGA, Train and Roskilde Festival. In 2024, he released his first single, and the following year he was featured on Gaffa's list of the ten best Danish songs of the year. With the EP Headless, Will took another step in his artistic development, allowing the melancholic expression to open up towards something more hopeful, without losing his signature sound. It sparked five stars from Gaffa and a spot as one of Vega's featured artists.
